Birdwatching tour in La Fortuna

Overview

The Birdwatching Tour is a 2-hour birdwatching tour in La Fortuna that starts at 6:00 a.m. on our 30-acre rainforest reserve, 1 km from the central park. A bilingual naturalist guide with a spotting scope and binoculars leads a small group of 2 to 10 people to find and identify birds and other wildlife. It costs $70 per adult and $40 per child, VAT not included, with entrance and transport from La Fortuna.

Starting at first light gives you the cool hours of the morning on the trail. Your guide brings the spotting scope and binoculars, so you do not need your own equipment.

Prices per person in USD; 13% VAT not included.

Cancellation policy

Cancel at least 24 hours before the tour for a 100% refund; with less notice, the full price is charged. Date changes made at least 24 hours ahead have no fee, subject to availability. If we cancel for weather or safety, you choose between rescheduling and a 100% refund. Pickup waits up to 10 minutes and, at the meeting point, please arrive 15 minutes early; a missed tour counts as a no-show without a refund.
